DESCRIPTION:
Hosteraga 10% Acne Med is a maximum-strength benzoyl peroxide treatment designed for stubborn, inflamed acne and resilient skin types. This powerful water-based gel targets deep within the pores to neutralize acne-causing bacteria, reduce redness, and prevent new breakouts from forming. Ideal for clients already acclimated to benzoyl peroxide, this formula clears skin fast without clogging pores or leaving a heavy residue. It’s a serious solution for persistent acne that needs more intensive support.
Recommended for mild, moderate and severe inflamed and non-inflamed acne. Can be used to increase from 5% Advanced Acne Med. For darker complexions, opt for 2.5% acne med.

DESCRIPTION:
*If you are new to Acne Med, please start with 2.5% or 5% acne med and follow the timed schedule instructions to reduce sensitivity to Benzoyl Peroxide:
Days 1-3: Apply a dime to nickel sized amount of Acne Med for 15 minutes only. Cleanse, tone and moisturize.
Days 4-5: Apply a dime to nickel sized amount of Apply Acne Med for 30 minutes only. Cleanse, tone and moisturize.
Days 8-10: Apply a dime to nickel sized amount of Apply Acne Med for 60 minutes only. Cleanse, tone and moisturize.
Days 11-13: Apply a dime to nickel sized amount of Apply Acne Med for 2 hours only. Cleanse, tone and moisturize.
Day 14 & Beyond: If the skin is not overly dehydrated and/or irritated, cleanse, tone and apply Acne Med then leave on overnight. Do not add moisturizer when leaving overnight!

INSTRUCTIONS:
- For the first 2 weeks, follow the timed schedule.
- Cleanse, apply dime to nickel sized amount of acne med, remove and follow with toner and moisturizer.
After day 14:
- Cleanse the skin, tone, apply Hydrabalance (optional), finish with Acne Med overnight only.
- Do not follow with moisturizer.
- Always apply SPF the next morning.
Notes:
- Start slow—this product is potent.
- Avoid using with other strong actives (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs) unless advised.
- If dryness or irritation occurs, reduce frequency and consult your Acne Specialist.
- Be cautious of bleached fabrics—benzoyl peroxide can stain towels and pillowcases.
